What it cosmetic acupuncture?

Cosmetic acupuncture is known as a ‘natural facelift’ which is an effective way to reduce your fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, and other facial skin conditions using special diagnostic skills and very fine acupuncture needles. In my clinic, I use Japanese made super fine needles (SEIRIN) for cosmetic acupuncture.

What should I expect during cosmetic acupuncture treatment?

Cosmetic acupuncture treatment starts with examining your health history and face using special diagnostic skills. After completing diagnoses and understanding your condition, I will put needles in your body which correct the imbalances that cause the ageing on your face. Then I will use very fine specialised needles into the relevant area of your face. The needles are left in place for about 20 mins and after removal of these needles I will give a facial massage using 100% pure organic rosehip oil which promotes an enhanced result.

What do I feel during cosmetic acupuncture treatment?

During cosmetic acupuncture treatment, you may feel a slight prick when the needles are first inserted, but once the needles are in place you will not feel any pain. Some people feel a tingling sensation, or warm the around the needles insertion area. Most people feel relaxed after cosmetic acupuncture treatment and have a better sleep at the night.

How many treatments do I need?

Cosmetic acupuncture treatment is not fast-fix magic as restoring the body to health takes time. For best results receiving cosmetic acupuncture treatments once or twice a week for 5 weeks is recommended. Follow-up maintenance treatment should be done once per month or once every season depending on your condition.
