Neuromuscular therapy
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is advanced massage therapy using breakthrough techniques including an initial postural analysis to help find the cause of your problem. Trigger points can be treated to ease tension in specific areas and myofacial release will ease the fascia around the muscles. Muscle Energy Techniques stretch the muscles to remove causes of most soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia) problems as well as dealing with symptoms and pain relief. The specific approach to soft tissue pain relief produces a balance between your muscular and nervous system.

What should I expect during NMT treatment?
After completing a confidential Client History Form, your session will start with a brief discussion of your condition and relevant lifestyles factors. This information together with a postural analysis (and if relevant, a joint movement analysis) is used to indicate which muscles are involved with causing your problem.
After this initial assessment, we will make a treatment plan and start treatment.
How many treatments do I need?
This is all depends on your condition regarding how severe it is and how long have you had the condition etc.
However from our experience, an average of four to six sessions will treat many problems.
Combination NMT and Acupuncture treatment
From my experience, a combination NMT and acupuncture treatment will lead to quicker results.
